Emily Neves
EMILY NEVES is a prolific, renowned voice actor, writer, and director, having lent her voice to more than 300 characters in English dubs of anime in her seventeen years in the business. Favorite roles include foul-mouthed, pretty-faced revolutionary, Ginny, in One Piece; Goku's mom, Gine, in Dragonball Super: Broly; sweet little cinnamon roll, Eri, in My Hero Academia; Chloe Aubert in That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime; Sylphiette in Mushoku Tensei; Young Nicholas D. Wolfwood in Trigun: Stampede; shapeshifting spitfire Chelsea in Akame ga Kill; Aoi Akane in Toilet-bound Hanako-kun; everyone's favorite gremlin, Umaru Doma in Himouto! Umaru-chan; Lammis in Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon; and almost 300 more! In addition to her iconic voice roles, Emily has also written the English dub scripts for hundreds of episodes of anime and directed a lot of them, too. Emily got her start in theatre and spent seven seasons as a member of the Resident Acting Company at the prestigious, Tony-award-winning Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas. She is also a playwright, screenwriter, novelist, and writer of creative nonfiction. Emily holds a BFA in acting from Texas State University.
